A Profitalize book · Install Nº01

Stop using AI. Start hiring it.

If you have spent two years buying AI tools that never changed your numbers, this is the part nobody sold you.

Hire your first AI employee tonight. The other seven are in the book.

INSTALL is a 245 page method for hiring AI into the 8 jobs every business has, one written job description at a time. The first is Email Triage, and it is the one you install tonight. The rest are in the order I install them for clients who pay five figures to have it done by hand.

INSTALL by Jon Weberg. Stop using AI. Start hiring it.

245 pages. 14 chapters. 4 appendices.

Your AI subscriptions did not buy you a process

You are not behind and you are not slow. You bought the tools. You watched the walkthroughs. You wrote better prompts than most people you know.

Your revenue did not move. Here is the reason, and it is structural rather than personal.

  1. Someone fills in your form at 9pm. They are ready.
  2. The form writes a row. The row sits there.
  3. Nobody calls in the morning, because calling is not on anyone's list. It is between two lists.
  4. Four days later they buy from someone slower than you who happened to answer.

No department failed. Marketing captured the lead. Sales would have called a lead they knew about. The money fell through the join between them.

That join is a seam. AI is very good at seams, and almost nobody points it there, because the tools are sold as something you use rather than something you give a job to.

The same model. Two completely different outcomes.
Using AIHiring AI
You open a tool and ask it for something. It has a job, in writing, that it does every day.
It helps with the task in front of you.It owns a handoff from end to end.
It has no idea what your business is.It reads the context you wrote once.
Nothing happens unless you are there. It runs whether or not you remember it.
You get faster at work you were already doing.Work stops falling between people.

The five steps, and why the order matters

A revenue chain has 12 joins in it, from what you spend through to who recommends you. Work falls through the joins rather than through the departments. We call a join a seam, and the 13th one governs the rest: no function owns the junctions between functions.

  1. 01

    Find the seam

Which handoff is costing you the most right now?

Not which department is weakest. Which join between two of them leaks. There are 12 of these joins in a revenue chain, from spend through to advocacy, and a 13th that governs the rest: no function owns the junctions between functions. You pick one join, and you pick it by what it costs, not by what is annoying.

  2. 02

    Write the job

What exactly is this worker for?

A job description, not a prompt. The task, the inputs it reads, the output it produces, the decisions it may make alone, and the ones it may not. If you cannot write it for a human you have just hired, you cannot write it for a worker.

  3. 03

    Give it the Business Brain

What does it need to know to be useful?

What you sell, who buys it, your prices, your terms, your refund rules, the exceptions you always make. This is the step people skip, and skipping it is the whole reason their AI produces plausible writing about nothing. A clever prompt over no context is still no context.

  4. 04

Set the boundaries and the escalation

What happens when it does not know?

What it may touch and what it may not. Who it hands to, and on which signal. A worker that stops and asks is useful. A worker that guesses on a refund is a liability you installed yourself.

  5. 05

    Review what it did

Is it still doing the job?

A short weekly read of what it handled, what it escalated, and where it was wrong. Then one change. This is the step that turns an install into something that compounds rather than something you rebuild in March.

Most AI advice is step two with none of the others. That is why a clever prompt feels impressive on Tuesday and is forgotten by Friday: nothing underneath it knows your business, nothing bounds what it may do, and nobody reads what it did.

The first one is your inbox

Email Triage is first for a boring reason: you already know what good looks like, so you can tell within a day whether it is working.

Here is the whole job, end to end.

  1. 01

    It reads what came in

Every message that landed overnight, against the context you gave it about your business.

  2. 02

    It sorts into four piles

A buying question. A support problem. A supplier or admin thread. Noise.

  3. 03

    It drafts the obvious replies

The ones that have one correct answer, written in your voice, held for you to send.

  4. 04

It routes what it should not answer

Anything about money, a complaint, or a decision goes to a person, with the thread summarised.

  5. 05

It tells you what it did

One short log. What it handled, what it escalated, what it was unsure about.

And the part that makes it safe to leave running

Anything it has not seen before, anything about price or refund, and anything where it scores its own confidence low: it stops and hands over. A worker that guesses on those is worse than no worker.

What this does not do: it does not close anybody, it does not create revenue, and it does not make a decision you would want to make yourself. It gives you back the first hour of your day and it stops things going unanswered. That is the first install, not the last one.

Three of the engagements this came from

Everything below is a record of consulting work Jon was paid for. None of it is a review of this book, and none of it is a result a reader should expect. A payment record proves a payment. A signed agreement proves a relationship. A testimonial proves that the person said it. They are different things and they are labelled separately.

Frank Kern$41,253three days · zero new ad spend · hired us four more times since

Frank Kern

What was happeningA list segment his team had written off. Nobody owned the handoff between "this lead did not buy the main offer" and "this lead hears about anything else".

What we didWe built the offer that sits below the main one and the sequence that carries a declined buyer into it, then ran it against the segment already in the account.

What the record showsThe record is a bank statement: $41,253 received inside three days, with no new ad spend. He has hired us four more times since.

In the bookThis is seam 06, one thing to sell at one price. Chapter 6 is the AI employee that watches for a decline and runs the next offer without anyone remembering to.

John Crestani$10,000 to $30,000 a weekfifteen straight weeks · from a list that was making nothing

John Crestani

What was happening43,297 people on a list nobody was emailing. The capture worked. The contact never happened.

What we didWe took over the list and ran it: segmentation, sending, and the follow up on every reply.

What the record showsPayment records across fifteen consecutive weeks, at $10,000 to $30,000 a week. That is revenue from the list, not profit, and it is the engagement total rather than his whole business.

In the bookSeam 03, what you collect never reaches whoever contacts them. Chapter 3 installs the worker that does the contacting.

AI Acquisition$1,322,312collected in 30 days · after show rate rose 43% in four weeks

AI Acquisition

What was happeningA 22 closer sales floor losing most of its booked calls before anyone showed up to them.

What we didWe rebuilt the confirmation and reminder path between booking and the call, and the scripts the floor used on the no shows.

What the record showsShow rate on the tracked cohort moved from 23.2% to 33.2% over four weeks, which is 10 percentage points, about 43% better than where it started. The floor collected $1,322,312 in that month. That is the month's total, not the amount the change caused.

In the bookSeam 05, chasing the drop instead of preventing it. Chapter 5 is the worker that works the gap between a booking and a call.

Those were done by hand, over years, by people. The book is how the same moves get installed as standing jobs instead of as a retainer.

What it costs you beyond the book

An AI account
A paid plan from an AI provider, or a self hosted model if you run your own. You buy this yourself and it is not included.
Whatever connects it to your inbox
Some people use tools they already pay for. Some add one. Readers report roughly $20 to $150 a month at this stage, depending on what they already have.
Your attention, weekly
A worker nobody reads drifts. The Friday routine exists because this is the step that decides whether it still works in month three.

Those numbers are what readers report, not a quote from us. The later chapters describe larger setups, and the book says plainly where each one lands.

Who this is not for

  • Anyone with no business yet. There is no handoff to own until something is already moving.
  • Anyone who wants it done for them. This is a method you apply. The done for you version is a separate, five figure engagement.
  • Anyone expecting a one click install. You write the job description. That is the work, and it is the part that makes it function.
  • Anyone who will not read a log. An unwatched worker is worse than no worker.

The four things people ask before they buy

What do I actually get for the money?
A 245 page digital book and 8 job description templates, plus the brand voice template, the 12 section Business Brain starter, the install video, the Friday check in, the drift log, the 80 point health check, and the reader community. You read all of it in your browser after signing in. There is no physical book and no file to download.
What else will I have to pay for?
An AI account of your own, and whatever you use to connect it to your inbox. Readers report roughly $20 to $150 a month at the first install. None of that goes to us.
How much work is this?
An evening for the first install, about half an hour for the Business Brain before it, and fifteen minutes a week after. If you want the whole eight installed, that is months rather than a weekend, and the book sequences them.
What if I want my money back?
Email us inside 30 days and we refund the $7. You keep your access to the book, the templates and the community. We do not take anything back.

Everything else

Is my business data safe if I give an AI worker access to it?

The book covers this directly, because it is the question that stops most people. You decide what a worker can read and what it can touch, and the job description is where you write that down. The chapter on boundaries is about exactly this, including what not to connect.

Do I need to be technical?

No, but you do need to be willing to follow a written procedure and read the output. If you have ever briefed a new hire, you can write a job description.

Will this work in my industry?

The seams are the same in every business that takes money from customers: capture, contact, booking, close, payment, delivery, retention. The examples in the book come from ecommerce, coaching, SaaS, services and affiliate businesses.

Which AI model does it need?

It is not tied to one. The job descriptions are written against capabilities, not a product name, which is deliberate given how fast the providers change.

Is this the same thing as the Profitalize platform?

No. The book is a method you can run with tools you choose. Profitalize sells software and consulting separately, and nothing on this page includes either. Buying the book does not make you a Seam Architect or enrol you in anything.

Why is it only $7?

Because the method is worth more to me in circulation than behind a consulting tier, and because a cheap book is how people who will never hire me still get the useful part. There is no catch and no trial that starts later.

Can I read it on my phone?

Yes. It opens in your browser on any device you are signed in on.

One last thing

You have read this far, which means some part of this landed.

The honest summary: you have been buying tools and calling it a strategy, and so has nearly everybody else. The fix is not a better tool. It is giving one of them a job, in writing, with the context and the boundaries it needs, pointed at a handoff that is costing you money.

That is the whole book, and the first worker is running by the time you go to bed.
